Little Leaders Academy is seeking a passionate, dependable, and experienced Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher who is committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and academically rich classroom. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about early childhood education and dedicated to preparing students for lifelong success while maintaining compliance with Georgia Pre-K and Bright from the Start standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS).
  • Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Complete lesson plans, assessments, portfolios, and required documentation.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families.
  • Maintain classroom management using positive guidance techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with Georgia Pre-K, Bright from the Start, and licensing regulations.
  • Collaborate with administrators and fellow teachers to support student success.
  • Participate in professional development and required trainings.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
  • Must meet Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher qualifications.
  • Previous Georgia Pre-K teaching experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of GELDS and Georgia Pre-K instructional requirements.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Must successfully pass all required background checks.
