Little Leaders Academy is seeking a passionate, dependable, and experienced Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher who is committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and academically rich classroom. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about early childhood education and dedicated to preparing students for lifelong success while maintaining compliance with Georgia Pre-K and Bright from the Start standards.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS).
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Complete lesson plans, assessments, portfolios, and required documentation.
- Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families.
- Maintain classroom management using positive guidance techniques.
- Ensure compliance with Georgia Pre-K, Bright from the Start, and licensing regulations.
- Collaborate with administrators and fellow teachers to support student success.
- Participate in professional development and required trainings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
- Must meet Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher qualifications.
- Previous Georgia Pre-K teaching experience preferred.
- Knowledge of GELDS and Georgia Pre-K instructional requirements.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must successfully pass all required background checks.
